Your Culinary Spring is Dawning: Rise Up against Boring Food with Classes from KitchenArt

Spring schedule provides knowledge for real culinary change!

You’ve had it. Boring meal after boring meal. Eating the same food week after week. Change will not come by itself—you must take a stand, gain the knowledge, and acquire the skills in order to gain culinary freedom. KitchenArt has just the ticket—cooking classes! Don’t miss classes from Chefs Diane Phillips, George Geary, Stephen Lee, Judith Fertig, Monique Jamet Hooker, Daniel Orr, Greg Hardesty, Susan Goss, Bev Shaffer, Christopher Lee, Lynn Schwartzberg, and Ed Bartush. Offerings range from “Classical French Cuisine Made Easy” to “Garlic” to “Pressure Cooker Primer: The Cuisine of Italy” to “A Man and Three Chicks.”

Speaking of awesome professional chefs, KitchenArt is honored to welcome Chef Ghyslain Maurais, the former head chef for the Québec diplomatic delegations in New York City and London, and now chef/owner of Ghyslain at the Sanctuary in Zionsville. He will delight and amaze you.

Have you traveled with KitchenArt to Chicago on one of our culinary tours? This spring’s adventure—our 24th trip—is definitely one not to miss!

Registration Begins Tuesday, 7 February 2012 at 6pm

Registration for classes will begin on Tuesday, 7 February 2012 at 6pm. You may register for classes on our web site—www.k-art.com—with your VISA, MasterCard, or Discover. Remember, payment must be made at the time of registration. Anyone holding a KitchenArt gift certificate or store credit certificate who would like to use it to pay for all or a portion of their classes, must register for classes in person at the store and bring the certificate with them. There will be no preference given to persons who register at the store. The KitchenArt staff will be required to access the website like anyone else to complete the transaction. No registrations will be taken over the telephone.

While you are not limited to the number of classes you may purchase per transaction, the ticket agency will limit you to purchasing no more than 2 seats in any specific class per transaction. If additional class seats are required, then you must complete a second transaction.

Refund Policy: No refunds of class/tour registration fees will be given. You are encouraged to send someone in your place if you cannot attend a class/tour. We make no exceptions to this policy. We look forward to having you in class. Those classes with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled prior to their starting date. Therefore, early enrollment is desirable. If KitchenArt cancels a class for any reason, we will notify you as soon as that decision is made and fully refund your registration fees; but if we hold a class, no refund will be given. KitchenArt reserves the right to cancel or modify classes or change faculty assignments when necessary.

Last Minute Reminders and Hints:

1. On registration day, you will want to press the "Click here to register for classes" link below. This takes you to our ticket agency—tix.com—the page will say "Tickets" in big white letters. Keep refreshing (pushing F5) the "Tickets" page as 6pm approaches. The classes will appear on the screen at 6pm.

2. Choose all of your classes first. Make sure you prioritize your class selections (choose the most important class first…)

3. At checkout, if you have not recently registered for classes, just check the box indicating that you are a new customer and follow the instructions for checkout.

4. If you purchased classes from us in the recent past, the system will have your email on file. If you have forgotten your KithcenArt/tix.com password, the system will allow you to reset it during the check out process. Just follow the instructions. (DO NOT CLOSE YOUR INTERNET BROWSER during the password reset process; your classes will be held for you for up to 15 minutes.)

If you have questions during the registration process, call KitchenArt at (765) 497-3878. I will be answering the phone to help people troubleshoot from 6 to 7pm on the evening that class registration begins.
